100 grams at three weeks of age! and besides with a bow on the cheeks!
Veterinarian Ellen Karozze from the animal protection organization NOVA Cat received a new patient. This is a tiny, three-week-old kitten with a white bow on her cheeks.
The kitten is so small that it fits perfectly in the box with the cupcake. Yes, he himself is no more than a cake or a donut.
Baby Francis is very different from her brothers and sisters. Mother cat gave birth to five kittens, but only one of them was unique. The baby did not grow up at all after birth, although he ate very well.
While the other kittens weighed about 300 grams, Francis barely reached a weight of 100 grams. In the photo, a striped kitten at the age of 4 days weighs more than Francis in his 3 weeks!
Doctors are very concerned that the little kitten does not gain weight and loses a lot of hair. There may be problems with the thyroid gland. Therefore, the kitten was tested and now the doctors are waiting for the results.
Despite special needs, little Francis lives a full life. He proved to everyone that size is not the main thing, which is why he has fun, runs and plays with adult cats. He plays with toys that are larger than him, climbs up the cat labyrinths with his tiny paws, but with great confidence.
Benny's volunteer cat is engaged in cat-breeding lessons for babies. He raised more than one generation of kittens, so taking care of little Francis did not become a heavy burden for him.
Little Francis takes the experience of his named father well. They sleep and play together. Not one step of the baby is left without Benny's attention.
And after eating Benny licks the baby to shine. In a word, the baby is in safe paws. We hope that someday he will become big and strong.
